This layout is so special to me because it celebrates the special relationship that only sisters share. These pictures were taken at my little sis's wedding.

Sisters share a special bond that is unlike any other relationship. As the oldest sister, I have always feld a bit protective. When both J and N were babies, I remember "mothering" them. I loved to hold and help take care of them. As little girls, we played for hours together. Whether it was Barbies or dressing up our poor cat Elliot and taking pictures, we always had fun. Of course, during our teen years J and I had our problems. She was constantly borrowing my clothes and we sometimes felt competitive with each other. But, looking back, I realize taht she actually admired me and just wanted to be like me. Now that we are older and more mature, I think that we appreciate each other more than ever. We share a lifetime of memories that are special to just us. We have tons of inside jokes and a similar sense of humor. Our lives are changing. I am now a wife and mother and J is now married too. We both have oru own new families and priorities, but I will always cherish our bond. As N is getting ready to graduate from high school and move from home, J and I feel a need to help her and be there to advise her. Ther has been much change in our lives and will be more change to come, but we will always have our treasured friendship and eternal bond. -August 2005
