Jessica, like always you know how to write your feelings, and the paradox is so true, life is a picnic with ants. You did such a wonderful work, love the vibrant red, the picture is so cute, congratulations.
perfect colours and design for this sweet pic! Life has so many differnt facets;you're reflecting a truer image of life by scrapping different emotions.
I so agree with you. It is important to remember the good with the bad. I love how you write on your pages!!!! I love this photo! And I really love your colors here. Very striking and beautiful!
I couldn't agree more - it's not all about the parties, vacations and fun events. Preserving our stories for future generations needs to include the WHOLE story. Generations to come will appreciate your honesty - you've created a beautiful, heartfelt lo.
In creating scrapbook pages I began to see a paradox emerge: some of my LOs featured journaling (or merely images) that were light-hearted and fun, whereas others highlighted detailed journaling about difficult/private times in (or elements of) my childhood (as represented by the use of black and white on this dramatic LO).
As such I created this page to acknowledge these two distinct sides to my scrapbook pages and how I feel it's important to record both the good and the bad, the joyful and the sad in the life, because (I think that) ultimately that's the most honest way to preserve to the past.
~ Heartfelt thanks for checking out my page. Any questions about this LO, please don't hesitate to ask. Wishing you a blissfully creative day! ~
