Journaling reads: "When it was Sarah’s turn to occupy the “big” bedroom (June 2003), she decided to paint it purple and green – what a change from the black and tan jungle theme that the boys had!!! We worked for hours ragging the darker purple over the basecoat of lighter purple. But, it was well worth the effort; the room was just beautiful when we finished. It was the perfect room for her teen years. These photos were taken in January of 2005, after we had rearranged the furniture, once AGAIN!!!"
The pps are by K & Co. I added lots of stitching to this one - the bg leaf paper has stitched lines on the leaves and the punched borders have lots of added decorative stitching. Also, the journaling is stitched down on each corner. The flowered pp had glitter on it, so I added some to the border pieces, too. The word "purple" is done with BG sticker letters. The other words are stamped and hand cut. The butterflies are handcut and pop dotted. The little flowers are 3-D stickers that go with the pp. Then I added some ribbon and buttons. The straight edges were inked using Colorbox inks. Thanks so much for looking!
