Who can believe that Halloween is around the corner?!? SCARY!! I've had this layout sketched since last year and never got around to doing it....and when the new October Sketchy Challenge was posted at www.canadianscrapbooker.ca (Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine), I said "Woohooo!" ...because I knew exactly how my page would look! Every Halloween I take photos of the Jack's my kids carve....hmmmm, some day that would make a great mini album!

Thanks to nfldmichelle for giving me that wonderful Basic Grey "Curio" paper for my moon! The other patterned papers are new Fancy Pants "Oct 31st" collection. The Dusty Attic tree is altered with Tattered Angels Glimmer Glam "Stiletto" and the chipboard title and bat are older Basic Grey "Eerie." I went Big Shot crazy with my pumpkin patch...the fence was cut with grunge paper and painted with PICKET FENCE (ha ha!) Distress Crackle paint, then inked with WEATHERED WOOD (ha ha again!) I downloaded that Vintage Seed Packet (held by Tim Holtz memo pin) from Graphics Fairy (www.graphicsfairy.blogspot.com) which has tons of lovely vintage images as freebies :)
