Periodically my aunt and I enjoy issuing “two-person” scrapbook challenges for each other. Today's page is one that I recently made for our current challenge, which involves using certain supplies and including song lyrics on our LO in some captivity

I opted for some of the words from Semisonic's 1998 classic “Closing Time”, as one line from that song in particular (“every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end”) has long resonated deeply with me and seemed especially fitting for the sense of change that is moving through my life right now.

The image is one I shot a couple of years ago of the view out of our living room window as the sun was setting and rush-hour traffic whizzed by below. To me, the dark silhouettes of the skyline paired with the vibrant sky seem to symbolize the end of one stage and the start of another exciting, unknown one that lies ahead on the horizon.
