Kim came up with a great idea for one of the December SGC Challenges: to pick an older layout and give it a total makeover. I chose something that I did when I was still pretty much a newbie and still quite awkward. (This is a link to the original: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/332343/view/2249839/-1/160/1.html) Since then, I've discovered layering, distressing, DA chippies and MS punches. More importantly, I've learned so much about design and techniques thanks to the wonderful ladies of Swirlydoos who provide not only so much inspiration, but awesome butterflies for us to use. (Thanks, LisaG, soooooo much better than the ones on the original!!!)
