On our trip to downtown LA, we visited the Chinese American Museum. The architecture of the buildings and cobblestone street were gorgeous. Unfortunately, they did not allow photos to be taken while you were inside so these are the only ones I have of our visit. The man at the front desk gave Shawn money in a beautiful envelope to celebrate the Chinese New Year (year of the dragon), but kids being kids and me not being fast enough to grab it from him, he ripped it!
