Journling: Week 9: March 1-3
Thursday was a March 1st to remember for sure. David had an eye exam at 11am (his first in five years) and also bought two new pairs of glasses. They are both very stylish and look so good on him; I hate that we have to wait two weeks for them to arrive. After the eye doctor visit we went to Chips ‘N Salsa for lunch and when we went to pay the bill our Chase card wouldn’t go thru. While David stepped outside to call them I tried using my Huntington card and IT wouldn’t work either! David found out that our Chase card had been frozen because of a large transaction going thru earlier…his glasses purchase! They had cost us $500 (yes, his eyes really are that bad) so the Chase Fraud Department thought it might have been stolen. David asked them if they honestly thought someone had stolen our card and then bought eyeglasses with it: he was NOT happy. They unlocked our card and our lunch was finally paid for. We next went to Huntington and they informed us that card hadn’t worked because the account wasn’t used for six months so it was labeled “dormant” and denied access. Really? This is our safety account, we actually try NOT to use it! This issue was also resolved as well so our money was officially ours to use again. We stopped at Pat Catan’s where David let me grab some scrapping goodies, then we swung by Best Buy to finally pick out a wireless router for our internet. Can’t wait to see how it works! We made it home in time to squeeze in some cuddle before the reality of Friday rolled in. Friday’s work day was a breeze as all I could think about was finally being back in my own scrapbooking room using the wireless router. It works so great! I didn’t realize how much I missed it until then and love my space even more now that I’m back. Sweets got into trouble for roaming too far into the forest…bad puppy! The sun rose beautifully on Saturday and though I worked six hours it seemed to fly by. Sweets wasn’t feeling well so I took care of her until David got home. He had a crazy day at work (his store did 15 deliveries in one day!) so his exhausted body fell easily into the cuddle and another week was done.
