These images are from our trip to Jamaica, when we went on what they called a "canopy" tour. You traverse down the mountainside on the series of wire cables.

Journaling is all travel notes:
<i>"My selective fear of heights didn't kick it at all when we went on the canopy tour in Jamaica. The ride up the rocky, steep hillside on a road that could only be described as primitive was actually much more nerve wracking than zipping back down the mountain connected to a series of wires criss-crossing through the trees. Through sheer accident, I ended up first in our tour group of twenty-something people - the guinea pig for the couple of surprise drops. On the walk back out through the forest along the river were beautiful gardens - gigantic ginger plants and HUGE chenille plants. We've discovered that the peacock is our travel totem."</i>

The peacock is in the middle bottom picture. Somehow every trip we end up with a peacock - in Mexico it was the folk art peacock I snuck back home as a surprise gift, here in Jamaica the living peacock that was out preening, and in Alaska it ended up being in the form of a stained glass panel of a peacock that happened to be in the hotel lobby where we stayed our final night. :)

products used: the new KI Memories Gelcandy (love it!), bazzil cardstock, KI paper, brads, etc.
