I'm laughing so hard I can hardly type! Thanks I needed this! What a SUPER lo and fun story! What a brave little bird! Maybe I should send you one of my cats....that will slow her down! Love your trees and all the fussy cutting! fav
Hey...see the comment below mine from unknown.... I had this on 3 of my los. What's up with this??? I'm thinking this is some kind of scam or something. I wasn't brave enough to go to the site...afraid it might be a virus or something. I wonder if anyone turned them into scrapbook?

OMW!!!! LOL!!!!!! This is sooooooooooo cute, Laurie!!!! and what an adorable, funny story!! Not very often I can check ALL the vote boxes, but I did on this one!!!! thanks so much for sharing!!
Laurie, this is toooo cute! I love the story and what a tricky birdy!!!!! I love that he wanted to live at your house, he felt safe!!!!!! hugs to the Gorgeous Princess Gracie!!!!! Hugs to you to friend!!!!!
Very cute LO! I can't believe that bird would continue to try and build a new nest! Score one or maybe I should say several for your DH. Love your trees!!! Great pg!!
LOL! How fun is this?! What a great story! Love the inset pic and scoreboard...so clever! There's a bird who built a nest in this breaker box sort of thing at the side of our house, and Momma keeps coming to get the food I put out for a stray cat for her babies...Feels like I'm feeding the neighbourhood! great job on this one...definitely gave me a giggle!
OK - now that I have stopped laughing I can type my comments (glad the bird finally gave up - there's no telling how long that WAR could have gone on). Laurie this is SOOOO fun!!!! Your sense of humor and creativity definitely SHINE. Love your score board and title banner. The trees are amazing and look at ALL that doodling . . . Love the loopy borders too -they add a touch of whimsy. I think you've outdone yourself with this one - it has all the elements of a perfect lo - you've told a fun story, have great photos, you used cute embellies and bright fun colors that draw you in and hold your attention. LOVE IT ALL!!!
They ARE the tenacious bird, aren't they? But 16?? One bird? You would not believe the contraptions we have on our front porch to block the buggers! Your scoreboard is the best!
Had me giggling for a while ... the story is so funny! Love your score board most of all! We have a cheeky little finch that builds condo's ever summer - stripping our palm trees while we're sitting under the tree he builds his nests in, then has the cheek to chirp at my hubby when said hubby shouts at him for the mess he makes while building. Gotta love nature!
OMG! This is hysterical - I almost spit my cup of tea on myself, lol! I totally love this story and you did a perfect job on this design. Love the whimsical feel of it and your details are totally fabulous! Thanks for the Monday morning giggle!!!!
You did an amazing job with this layout! You used Vickie's inspiration wonderfully! I love pages that tell a story and yours does it beautifully!!!!1 TFS this awesome page with us!!!!!
Super cute lo and story!! Love the robin in the circle...your DH sweeping up the mess while the robin watches...CHEEKY little beggar!! Love your trees, bird house and the scoreboard!! The green loopy die cut is awesome!!!!
I like doing los that have a story. Let me start by saying that my dh LOVES animals but, for some reason, this robin really got under his skin!! This cute little guy wanted to build under our deck. My dh was fine as long as the robin only wanted to build a single-family dwelling, but this guy wanted to build a whole condo complex!!! LOL You can see the cubby holes in the photo...well, he filled all 16. My dh would knock it all down (but one or 2) and the robin had the nerve to actually pick up the straw on our patio WHILE my dh was trying to sweep. No joke! This went on for a few days and the robin finally gave up. I let him win on my scoreboard though!
I have to thank my dear friend, Vickie (HappyGoLucky), for the inspiration on this one. I loved her "That Peaceful, Easy Feeling" lo and just couldn't resist "lifting". Go check it out in her gallery! Also, thank you, Vickie, for the birdhouse stamp!! I finally got a chance to play with it. Didn't like the tree on my Cricut cartridge so made the trees myself. Did some fussy cutting and stamped and cut out the birdhouses. Did the War "blast" on my computer and cut it out. The little marks on the visitor part of the scoreboard are supposed to look like bird feet. Not sure I accomplished that!!! LOL I couldn't get a good photo of this...not very clear. The little sayings are "There goes the neighborhood" and "Got Room?"
Thanks so much for taking your time to look...your comments also encourage me. Once again, I'm sorry if I've missed commenting on some of your fabulous los. I've really gotten behind because I haven't been on the site as much.
