I TOTALLY love this layout! You did an AMAZING job with the paper- it's just perfect for this girly layout, yet somehow you kept it from overpowering the beautiful picture in any way at all... fantastic! Becky
oh my... {wiping tiny tears from my eyes}... this is BEAUTIFUL. Really. The journaling is so real and your sweet girls are precious. I always pictured DH with a little boy, we have one girl & he said he may just secretly hope for another girl if we have a second. Funny how life gives us what we need when we don't even realize it. OK, enough mush, TRULY stunning layout in every way... straight to my faves!!
I love this! The papers, the picture, and most of all the journaling! You are great at putting your feelings into words and your girls will treasure that forever! Great Job!
This gave me goosebumps...I have two boys and thought exactly the same thing only reversed. I was so sure they were girls...You don't always get what you want you get what you NEED. Right now I need to tell you how much I love this.
Your journaling is simply amazing!!!! That is such an adorable photo!!!! I love everything about this...the "xoxo" clip is perfect!!! Great job!!!!
Awww...this is so precious and perfect in every single way! I loved the journaling. This is definitely something that they will cherish when they're old enough.
TFL! I wanted to document how I felt about having two girls... I thought I was pregnant with a boy BOTH times.... but I wouldn't trade them for the world.
The journaling reads:
When I was pregnant with Morgan, I was pretty sure I was carrying a boy. I imagined this little brown hair, blue eyed version of Steve, and pictured them fishing together, going to Boy Scouts where Steve would be the group leader, and doing yard work together. I was shocked on the big day when out came a little girl. When I was pregnant with Payton, THIS time was sure. It’s a boy. We would have one of each. Again I was mistaken, and this time, Steve was the one to tell me, as he leaned over the sheet in the operating room. “It’s a girl,” he said. “It’s Payton!” Two times I thought I knew what we were getting. Two times I thought I knew what we wanted. And two times we got what we were meant to have. Boy Scouts? Nope. But when I look out the window and watch Morgan chasing her daddy around the yard, blond locks bouncing with each step, eager to help with the latest yard project, eager to jump in the truck and head down to the fishing hole, I know that we wouldn’t change a thing. To the depths of our souls, we love them both. Will there be more? I don’t know. But what I can say is that it doesn’t matter who they are, boy or girl the love is the same. We are lucky to be their Mom and Dad.
