Journaling reads: Snorkeling was the finest part of this trip. There was so much to see even just swimming in the ocean beside the hotel. The water was so warm and as clear as a pane of glass. I saw starfish, sea anemones, stingrays, parrotfish, and lots of other fish that I could not identify. I would spend hours at a time scanning the bottom of the ocean for life. I felt like I was exploring a vivid, new world. Even Caleb came out into the water and tested out the snorkeling equipment! My dad and I had a great time trying to get closer to a starfish that was as big as a tire! It was a wonderful time, and a first for Luke and I; we had never been snorkeling before! I would love to go back there. The beauty and feeling of the place is indescribable...
