I made this for the following challenges: sewing, cricut, ABC, boys and girls, and color. When I found the sketch for this, I immediately wanted the magenta strip for the top. I wanted felt but couldn't find the right color so I settled for sparkly ribbon..LOL. I wasn't sure how to title the LO so I asked my hubby. He said 'ferocious' right away. It is hard to tell but the animal she is challenging is a grizzly bear (statue!). I used elmer's glitter glue for the centers of the flowers and to highlight the title.
I sewed the strip at the top and across the scallop border.
With my cricut, I cut the curly strip at the top and the scallop strip. I also cut all the flowers.
The color challenge was purple and blue, my bg paper is purple and the matting and banner are blue.
For the ABC, I used khaki paper in the center, lace on the bottom, and mother in the photo.
Boys and Girl...my mom! TFL.
