We had a challenge in VLB to use a photo that was 10+ years old. I didn't have any like that because my albums are completed up into 2008. So, since we tease Cassie about how horrible poor Ariel looks with her dreadlocks, bald spots, and worn off scales, I decided to take a photo of her and dd's other fave, Jessie, who has had to have her arm reattached. The photo doesn't do justice to their grubbiness. LOL To use 10+ year old photos, I scanned some that are already in albums chronologically to combine here to tell the story. The bottom left is of Cassie in November 1999 when she was 2 1/2 with Ariel, who she had had for about a year at that point. (Also, a nice pic of my precious Lexie who was 4 1/2.) The bottom right is Cassie mere moments after we bought Jessie on the way into lunch at the Sci-Fi Café in WDW in November 2002 (5 1/2 years old). I love the utter joy on her face. The center bottom pic is of her asleep in our room at the Animal Kingdom Lodge in November 2002 with her arms wrapped around both Jessie and Ariel and her favorite blankie.

I wrote the first verse of the song 'When She Loved Me' by Sarah McLachlan from Toy Story 2 on vellum to put next to the photo of Jessie and Ariel:
When somebody loved me, everything was beautiful
Every hour we spent together, lives within my heart
And when she was sad, I was there to dry her tears
And when she was happy, so was I,
When she loved me.

On the left, I journaled on vellum: Ariel and Jessie, Cassie loved you both, almost to pieces, and she will always love you. So will I.

This is my example for my May Four Categories Challenge - Category One ~ Product: Floral Patterned Paper. The twist is to include at least one flower embellie on the page - I have two Prima flowers and three small punched flowers.
