Top journaling reads: I never really had boyfriends growing up, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. When I was younger I was a tomboy and had a lot of guy friends. During high school, my best friend was a guy and I think that kept guys away. After graduating from college with no prospects for a husband in site, I often wondered if I’d ever get married. Then one day, Daniel walked into Sunday School and the rest is history. All in all, married life is wonderful. It’s nice to always have your best friend around to talk to. We waited for a while before having children and sometimes wondered if we really wanted them. Now that Amelia is here, I can’t imagine my life without her. She is a constant joy in our lives and we are looking forward to having more.
Bottom journaling: I really don’t think of myself as all that creative. I always say that my sister got all of the creative genes in our family and I was the family nerd. But one of my main joys in life is scrapbooking. It is really nice to look at the albums I have created and know that my children and grandchildren will be able to see what my life was like. I have also just started making jewelry. It is really amazing to take a group of beads and create something beautiful that I can wear with pride.
