MY DH wanted to cross the 23.83 mile causeway across the Lake into New Orleans. It is the Guinness of World Records as the longest continuous bridge over water. It was weird in the middle. You couldn't see land. It was nice to hear the bridge held up during Hurricane Katrina and was opened first for emergency traffic and then to the public without tolls. There is a $3.00 toll going southbound. The photo of the lake and causeway was downloaded from NASA. TFL! I appreciate it. Sorry the LO isn't straight or a little fuzzy.
