I lived in Bolivia three times as kid, for a total of about 2 years. Unfortunately, my parents took no photos. I've been wanting to scrap memories from this part of my life for some time, but just never started because of the lack of photos. I decided to use pictures from the Internet to fill in this gap of my life. Journaling reads:

The road between La Paz and Cochabamba is one scary drive! In my search for some photos, I discovered that it's considered the most dangerous road in the world. At least one vehicle falls over the edge of the mountain every other week. I remember being terrified when we traveled on it–sheer cliffs and hairpin curves–and that when there were vehicles coming towards each other, one would have to back up the mountain to reach a spot where the road would be wide enough for both to fit.

I was so proud of myself for digging out my Poetry Dog Tags. I have a whole box of them and haven’t used them in years. Wish they showed up better in the scan. They say “wicked” and “road.” And why is it I never realize my pages are crooked until I scan them?

Materials: A2Z Essentials patterned papers.
