Hi everyone! I created a masculine LO with a photo that I estimate was taken in the early 1900's. The good looking guy on the right is my Great Uncle Bruce Hebert (my Mom's uncle/her mother's brother)! Hebert is pronounced "a bear".
I've always LOVED how everyone back in the early days of photography would have such stiff poses and have such a serious look about them. Perhaps they were instructed to be super still so the photo would come out clear and they probably didn't or couldn't hold a smile that long. I LOVE vintage photos like this! They are just too cool! I had lots of fun using Lindy's Starburst sprays, Bo Bunny stamps, Tresors de Luxe lace and all sorts of metal embellishments, weaved ribbons and buttons from my dear mother's sewing stash.
Special thank you to Nancy Smith (Asoulgirl) for giving me the inspiration I needed to use the Bo Bunny ‘Weekend Market' collection “Antique” paper! Her inspirational LO (BTW it is a FAVE of mine) is located at: http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/556369/view/4212881/-1/18/0.html
If this doesn't work, go to Asoulgirl Gallery and find "Dictionary Cat". It is AWESOME! :)
