This was inspired by three things: Angelica's monthly All That Flutters challenge, this pretty sheet from the Ma Cherie collection that was part of the November Scarlet Elegance kit and this amazing image that I found on Pinterest. I started by applying a thin coat of matte medium; when it was dry, I used light paste to stencil some blossoms using a Prima mask. Next, I cut and lightly distressed several layers of paper from the same collection and added one more layer that I border punched with a Martha Stewart BAP. I cut a few pennants, ran a strip of bling from the kit down one side and applied a bit of lace down the other. Two of the blossoms are from the main kit. (I colored the pink one with Lindy's Fuzzy Navel Peach to blend it with the peach tones of the paper.) The rest of the embellishments are from my stash. Yes, I'm really trying to dig into my hoard!!! ***Special thanks to Rae for the cherry blossom vine. And yes, it really hurt to let go ;)
