This was a magical experience that I had with my girls last holidays. We were at Parramatta park and my middle daughter (vet nrse trainee) walked to edge of pond and settled down along edge. Before long a drake came and offered her a piece of bark that she took and then all of a sudden the birds came from everwhere and marched towards her in a single line. The were ibises, ducks, sparrows, minors, a magpie and swan. People stopped on the bridge and around the pond to just watch. It really was a moving experience and one my other two daughters kept marvelling about.
I made this for the music inspiration challenge and the song was Magic. I included the lyrics -Come take my hand
You should know me
I've always been in your mind
You know that I'll be kind
I'll be guiding you
because they were so apt.
