Thursday, March 9 was Grandma Subsits’, Justin and my first day at the parks. Tim had to work. We decided to go to Animal Kingdom.
The first thing we saw when we walked in was Pooh and friends! After getting their autographs, we walked over and saw dinosaurs and rides.
We then wandered over to the Maharajah Jungle Trek®. We saw lush forests and experienced an unparalleled adventure into the wilds of the mystical Anandapur Royal Forest of Southeast Asia. We saw Komodo dragons, tapirs, and tigers. It felt like we wandered among the ruins of an ancient palace inhabited by beautiful and exotic animals!
We finished the park in an open-sided safari vehicle for an exciting expedition. Animals from Africa freely roam through acres of savannah, rivers and rocky hills. We saw giraffes, hippos, elephants, rhinos, lions and helped catch some poachers too! All the excitement put Justin to sleep on the ride.
