Such a beautiful vintage project, Lyn. The soft blues are really perfect. You got TONS of mileage out of your kit this month, and it's great to see you getting to scrap as much as you have!
When my cousin posted this picture of my aunt on facebook, I knew I HAD to scrap it. I have almost no pictures of her, and this one would be scrap-worthy even if I had a whole pile of them. I do need to see if he knows when this was taken.
Journaling reads: When my Aunt Betty went to work for a new firm, they asked her for a baby picture of herself. Since there were no pictures taken this presented quite a problem, but they were confident that she would find something. Going through her old pictures she found a baby picture - of me! The picture was hung in the gallery where visiting dignitaries were greeted by the staff with none the wiser. One visiting head-of-state smiled at Betty, pointed to my picture and said, through his interpreter, "That's you. It's the eyes!" We've all had a few chuckles about that over the years. Those Evans genes - you just can't water them down!
For the AGC weekly challenge to use our counterfeit kit and the following: Photo over ten years Sketch done in vintage style one word title Poem generated (anagram used) used word old or a synonym (in journaling - old & over the years) AGC dailies #21 - cool color scheme & #24 - finish weekly
