OMW I love this layout! The bgpp's are stunning, just love the vintage balloon papers. Love the hanging sign, and the pics are priceless! If you know the paper collection, could you let me know? Thanks and beautifully done!!!
Love that you used both the negative and positive of the flourish punch! Great background paper and lovely photos! Really love the special touch that your clouds give the page!
You are definitely a good sport. This is a fabulous lo with a great vintage look to it. I love the you rounded the corners of the photos and matting, making them flow with the balloon background. The hidden journaling/flip book is so creative.
I LOVE your journaling! Doing things just because your significant other wants to, even though you don't, is called being married, lol! I really love those clouds. They add the perfect detail to your gorgeous colors. That looks like an awesome ride - inside or out!
I am terrified of heights and roller coasters... never was when I was younger though! ::sigh:: You're a Great Sport! Love the very vintage-carnival feel of this layout! Great colors; love that orange and vellum clouds!
Love the balloon paper and your layout is great loved reading the journaling ...i love rides we have a big gigantic ferris wheel in Pigeon Forge we have taken pics in front of it but no one will ride it with me but we are going for my birthday in May for the weekend and my Mom is going to ride it with me .
How cool and creative you are to use the negative piece for the title. I never thought to combine positive and negative but I really like it. Thanks for giving me some inspiration. Wonderful background paper. Love the color.
I love this! The background paper is gorgeous! Love the photo, you can tell your smile is not only a smile. My husband smiles like you when it comes to heights. But you did it and that is great, don't you think?!
Well, one more thing we have in common: the fear of heights, and NO! I would not get on a Ferris wheel, I like roller coasters and spinning rides. The graphic 45 papers are very pretty, and perfect for this lo. They have a vintage feel to them. I have never used them.
Awesome page what is not there to love. You had me at G45 and this piece of paper is one of my favs. Love the clouds reflecting how high you felt you were! Too funny that this ride is scary for you. I love Ferris wheels. Would love to go on one like this one. Hohum one day if I ever venture to the USA! You've inspired me to do my Ferris wheel photos from 2 winters ago. Now where have I put those photos
Love this layout.great take on challenges.
Oh man, I can ride any roller coaster you put in front of me, but a Ferris Wheel, ummm NOPE! Those things go way to slow and it gives me time to think and realize what is actually happening! Love the hidden journaling!
I am right there with you, heights scare the daylights out of me too! My husband and son talked me into going on a ferris wheel at Disney Land and it was petrifying! I would rather go on the fast rollercoastes than to slowly hang in mind air! Lol... I love the pps you chose Nice photos and love how you made the journaling tag that flips up!
Guuurrrrllll I am so afraid of open heights so I would have been up there sweating bullets with you. I can't even watch TV with someone climbing out on any type of ledge without my palms clamming up and my heart starts beating in my ears. I fell out of a tree when I was younger, so that did it for me! But you are right, sometimes it is good to face fears, I just don't think roller coasters/rickety carnival rides are the way to go hahaha! But you did put that smile on your hubby's face and that means something. I love all your G45's papers and embellies to match. They were made for the Wonder Wheel. fave
Last summer, Tom and I went to New York for our anniversary. We spent an entire week and two weekends, just hanging out, visiting his relatives, and being total tourists.
Of course, we HAD to do Coney Island. It's an iconic park, right? And it was 2017 and the film Wonder Wheel was scheduled to be released that year, so of course Tom wanted to go up. He's a nut for Ferris Wheels.
Me - I could have skipped it. The thing is gi-NORM-ous, and it has two layers of cars. The ones on the inside slide back and forth along a track as the wheel goes around, adding a bit of a roller coaster feel to the whole experience. The ones on the outside are stable, but they go higher. It's kind of a choose your own poison sort of thing.
I agreed to go, and I know hubby would have loved to do the inside track experience, but he also realizes that this particular kind of ride scares the life right out of me, so we went on the outside, quieter-ride track. At that height, things are just kind of relative, you know?
I have a big smile on my face, but it doesn't take much to see that it's NOT genuine. I'm seriously terrified, but I'm trying hard to have a good time anyway.
The interactive journaling card flips up. I've grouped a picture of this inside with this one.

Stack Challenge 1. Round Robin - I'm a week 2 player. My target lift was Lyn's Blessed Are The Curious which you can see here
2. Doreena's Amusement Park Challenge. I thought I'd be doing another carousel picture for that one, but Lyn's project sent me another direction this month.
3. Anything Goes Challenge Daily #5 ~ Use Orange, #6 Use a Transparent Item (the vellum clouds), and #9 Play
4. Denise's The Sports and Play Challenge for the Play category
5. Shannon's Journaling Challenge. The journaling sandwich board has 212 words of journaling on the inside.
6. Die Cutters Challenge ~ I used my Silhouette Cameo3 to cut out the vellum clouds. That's TWICE this month I've used it. I'm about to go pro!
