Oh my darling little girl! What a personality she has! She has the most beautiful smile - when she wants to, but her latest thing this year is what we have coined "The Lip". It started as a pout-pout face after we started reading the Pout Pout Fish books, but has since morphed into this sort of expression whenever we take a picture of her. As the journaling card says, we'll say, "Sofie, smile!" and out the lip pops. And we'll go "Sofia! What's with the lip!?" And then she smiles. Sometimes it's annoying, but mostly it's just ridiculously cute!

And clearly she does it ALL the time! This was only the vertical photos I printed. I have a whole slew of selfies, horizontal pix and ones with groups of people in them that just didn't fit with the page. I wanted to show mostly just her at various times with The Lip. There's a few with her brother and one with her oldest cousin that I just couldn't resist including. It's just so uniquely her!

This is for the Music Inspiration challenge. My song was Poker Face by Lady Gaga. As soon as she gave me this song, I knew I was doing a page about The Lip. I just had to figure out WHICH photo (of the many) I wanted to use. Initially it was going to be the sunglasses one, second from right bottom, but then that didn't really capture the essence of The Lip since it appears ALL the time. So I created mini collages with four vertical photos or cropped photos and then had to figure out how to get them all on the page without looking so busy. I think it mostly worked!

Also included in the Sports/Play Challenge, since this is obviously her 'playing' with us; Washi tape using 2 and the Live, Laugh, Layout NSD Challenge.
