This documents how my husband taught me how to shoot the target is from my first time shooting a gun.
the journaling reads

Vince asked me to take a gun safety course with him, as he wanted me to learn so that I would have protection when he went out of town on business. I was reluctant at first as I was scared of guns.
I decided as long as I learned safely that it would be alright. I did alright at the range but I only shot a little 22 and the target was not that far. I enjoyed it but the noise bothered me and was still nervous,
Vince wanted me to learn more and I was open to the idea but was still scared. He rented a large 22 revolver for me because it had little recoil. I refused to shoot it though as I was still to scared. I did want to learn but was not ready.
He asked me to go to the range with him to get used to the noise I agreed. I got bored after a while and asked to shoot his gun. I decided I liked it and eventually bought my own gun.
I have since become a pretty good shot and have really started to enjoy shooting and I am always trying to improve.
Interestingly enough Vince let me choose my own gun and he liked my choices so much that he now calls me his gun consultant.
