We have been to Guatemala many time but I didn't know about this ruin. I have put it in my bucket novel for the next time we are there. It is such a beautiful place and you scrapped the beauty perfectly. Great page design for this double!!!

Journaling reads: Iximche is a Pre-Columbian Mesoamerican archaeological site in the western highlands of Guatemala. The remaining structures are palaces, ball courts, a ceremonial area and temples. The ruins of Iximche were declared a Guatemalan National Monument in the 1960's.
