I had taken a class and someone told me that this cemetery
was a great place to take pictures and it is unlike any cemetery I'd ever seen. The cemetery was designed by noted architect Frederick Law Olmstead (who's other credits in New York's Central Park). Some of those buried there are railroad builder Charles Crocker, Yosemite landscape painter Thomas Hill and architect of Hearst Castle Julia Morgan. This is one of the oldest burial sites surrounded on three sides by dirt. It is a mausoleum and I hope to take a docent led tour some day of this amazing place. Thanks for looking
