This is for the September Sketch Challenge, Sketch #4.

As soon as I saw Susanne's sketch I knew exactly which photos and papers to use. I did a bit of stencilling, used up some old rub-ons and doodled the flower petals, stems and borders. The sentiment is printed on vellum and stuck down on a left-over piece of background paper.

I already have an idea for the bonus sketch, inspired by last weekend's wonderful SoulDay event in a pub in Banbury (our nearest town). Yes I know, my layouts do not run in order but hey, life's too short to worry about minor details!

I would also like to thank all of you who take time and stop by my gallery, leave inspiring and humorous comments and make me smile. Your support is so uplifting. Thank you also for all the lovely messages and good wishes for my upcoming trip to Germany, they are much appreciated.
