I have created this for the Best of British comp in July. I took this pic a year ago and I absolutely love it. It isn't as dark IRL and the colours complement each other beautifully.
I need to re-stick little bits of this, but I am pretty pleased with it. However I am always wanting your feedback/suggestions.
Technique: I hand drew the flourishes & drew around some chipboard flower shapes onto scrapgenie c/s. It's thinner than bazzill so was much easier to ruffle the edges of the flowers. I used a versacolor ink pad (umber) to distress the bazzill all over and the edges of the flourishes & flowers. Mixed some acrylic paints to find a match for the lolly sticks. I used stickles glitter on all flourishes and flowers. Pink pearly beads and the 2 shells were from an old broken necklace. I think the blue pearly brads are from papermania. I doodled around the edge of the page then handstitched it. I used a couple of bazzill bling blooms and MM metal frame and word plate. Created the tag to add hidden journaling. I think I am so excited about this lo because I made most of it myself and thoroughly enjoyed doing it.
