It may seem a little odd for me to put a letter to you in my scrapbook, but it’s just another testament to how blessed we are to be able to spend so much time together.
Who would’ve thought, me, at 25 years old, would be decorating a cake to celebrate my 3 year old sister’s birthday? Clearly you are a miracle to us. A blessing directly from God, and I hope I’ll always be able to convince you just how special you truly are.
Who knows how different our relationship would be had there not been 22 years separating us? Sometimes I feel more like an aunt to you than a sister, but that’s not a bad thing either. I hope that because I’m older I’ll be able to teach you things about life that I wouldn’t have had we been closer in age. And yet, I also hope that we’ll be able to do “sister” things too. I’m waiting anxiously for the day I get to help you shop for a prom dress, or take you out for a sister’s only lunch! Being the mom of two boys, I feel so lucky to have you to do all of those fun “girl” things with!
You are a blessing to me. We love you!
