Gorgeous! Martha Stewart did something like this a few years back - involved dipping the pumpkin in a big tub with gold paint. But your way is MUCH easier!!

metallic painted pumpkin

I altered my pumpkin!

A fast and very fun little project for your fall pumpkins! Just spray it with a shimmery, metallic gold...and lightly paint over that in some of your fav harvest colors. I used a mix of yellow and deep red...and painted the stem a nice chocolate brown. =-)

I envision my sideboard (that I don't have yet) in various sizes and shapes of pumpkins painted in soft, metallic shades with a touch of color. It's elegant, right?
