Give a Cheer
I made this plaque back in April and forgot to post the picture. It is for sale at CherishedTokens on Etsy. I used the eggshell mosaic technique inspired by Gabrielle Pollacco's tutorial. Initially, they are a lot of tedious work but coloring them up is so much fun I feel it's worth the effort. I had my son Sam drill holes at the top and I strung the wire through the holes and did a little wrapping. I made the dragonfly from seed beads and added the wings. Also put the little copper flowers together with wood beads and wire. I painted the wooden flourish with Pearl Dabber and added glitter. The little meal leaves were gold but I died them with Tim Holtz alcohol inks to match the color scheme better.
