I have these products, I haven't combined crackle paste with distress ink, now I want to experiment. I love the metallic look you achieved on this. Fabulous!
I've had this tag sitting half-finished in my WIP stack for a month. I didn't realize what I wanted to do with it until about 2 hours ago. It's about fresh starts, do-overs, resets, and new years. I already had the clock stencil, but a butterfly is a perfect metaphor for the ending of one thing being the beginning of another.
I went back and forth a bit on the wording - it originally said, "Every end is a new beginning," but that just didn't sound right, and I realized the sentence was out-of-balance. So, I added -ing to, "end."
The entire base tag is covered in rock candy crackle paste, and I discovered that distress ink will react to crackle paste if it's not sealed. I still like how it came out, but for future reference, I will remember that crackle paste will make distress ink move!
