Travel Chest for Yvonne!

Here is the project I made for Yvonne (Euroalien) for the Sept. MM Swap!!

I found the chest at HL, took off the hardware, stained it (, put the papers on it, coated it with some ModPodge Antique Matte, then put it back together. I even managed to NOT lose any of the screw in the process!

I added the chain on the inside for the lid using some TH Hardware, stamped the compass (TH) on to some TH Linen & some canvas, added some "scrolls" of maps & the Prima lightbulb.

The TH Elements metal tag I received in a FB swap from Elizabeth (eapipkin) in May, and it was actually the starting point for my idea because I know that Yvonne likes to travel! (I rubbed some Picked Raspberry Distress Paint on it to fill in the type, then carefully wiped off the excess.)

Oh, the twine is TH too.
