I have to say I had a blast making this. I have had this little wooden tray for over a year. It originally came with little foam snowflakes in it. Instead of tossing it I hung onto it trying to figure out what I wanted to do with it! Sooo, I went to Pinterest where the ideas and inspiration are endless and decided to alter this as a birthday gift for Jess.

Her favorite color is aqua so that is the color scheme I decided to use predominantly. I chose Prima Nature Garden 6x6 pad to use in each box. They were about 1-1/2" squares although not perfectly square. After cutting each piece I inked the edges with Tim Holtz Evergreen Bough. I also just rubbed it over the edges of the wood.

The top piece is Tim Holtz Vignette Accents. I used Versamark and embossed it with Ranger's Verdigris an added a pretty rose from Reneabouquets. The little printed butterflies from Donna (Bonprof) are from Reneabouquets also.

The lace at the top was from Laura (Laural'sAttic) and the beautiful key from Marylou (Meggie's Nana).

In #1 - Cabochon from Pamela Joy Boutique on FB glued into a button from my stash

Thank you ladies for sharing your goodies with me!

And thank you everyone for your continued support of my projects! I have added close-ups to see detail a bit better, if interested.
