This is the souvenier I brough back from Bosnia-Herzegovina when I visited several years ago on a short-term mission trip. It is a cannon shell casing from the civil war there. It was filled with sand and then carved with hot tools. It is really beautiful and has 3 different pictures on it. It reminds me that the Lord gives us "beauty for ashes", proven by an instrument of death turned into a lovely work of art. I pray He will do the same with that country one day and that it once again will be a Christian nation. TFL!!
