The roses are resting up for the coming season. Ours never seem to have the abundance of blooms that the northern roses do, maybe because they don't have a "long winter nap".

Great description of this place you love! As soon as I read the sign my brain started singing..."I beg your pardon....I never promised you a rose garden" hehehe...I'm to young to remember who sang it though....at least that's what I'm telling myself! =}
