Caught a neat shot of him and I love the texture on the bark of the tree. I've been trying to catch one, but he only comes out when my camera is away.

Lovely catch! It's been ages since I've heard one around here! When I had aluminum siding on the back of our house once in a while a woodpecker would come pecking and scare me to death! What a racket that would make! =}

We call this little guy Woody and he pecks at the trees in our yard on a daily basis. He was way up in the trees (above the wires)...I am surprised I caught him!!
