THat's Salvia? My Mother's never reached those heights, great photo and just last night I said to DH, oh the summer is passing the yellows are appearing. I was referring to the wild flowers but I guess it works for "tame" flowers too?
That is so pretty! Is that a flag nestled into the flowers? I really like the composition of this pic....especially how the flowers extend past the top of the pic...hmmm...I learn so much from these challenges!
That sounds like a lot of working, and planning, to have a color coordinated garden that changes like that, but it sure is beautiful! TFS all your hard work with us!
ooooh looking GOOD! I love those tall purple ones but I had a few and got rid of them - right by the front door and they attracted BEES something fierce. DS and I are both allergic, and DD likely is as well... so I am NOT fond of bees who want to sneak into my house and/or corner us near the house... bees are OK outside with pleanty of room for BOTH of us to say FAR away from each other LOL
This is a pic of my front side garden which is filling in nicely..The shades of the purple June garden are started to give way to the golds and yellows of the july garden..This a a pic of purple aalvia, daylily in bud, pinks and peeps of wild rose rosebush
