Meet Angel Face, 1 of 4 of the bare root roses I planted this year and 1 of 2 that have blessed me with blooms.
Awhile back, I had a bad day. Not just any bad day, a stay home and redefine my life bad day. I took two days off of work to evaluate my purpose, my worth to my company, my co-workers and to figure out my place.
During those two days, I planted this blessing. I carefully unwrapped the roots, I soaked them while I punched holes in the pot and mixed the dirt by hand (it's really, the only way).
I may not have found my place at work, but when I look at these blooms, I know my places isn't AT work. But here, in my Garden. I may be a mere spider, but the sun shines down and the blooms brighten my day.
I hope. I have a purpose.
