8-12-10...A view of the Klickitat River from the Fisher Hill bridge, the narrowest point of the canyon. The Klickitat River is approximately 75 miles long, it weaves its way from the North on the Yakima Indian Reservation in Yakima County down South thru Klickitat County and empties into the Columbia River at Lyle, WA. Note the fishing platform on the left, midway in the photo...Native Americans dip-net for salmon from there. I think NOT!!!! The platform looks like it is the size of a postage stamp from the bridge. Zoom in for a closer look...it still doesn't look very big or very stable either. [P8123258]
