The Long sidewalk

This is where I often walk, a long straight walk with old enough trees for shade. The street to the right is Esparanza, which means hope. It was first a landing strip in totally uninhabited desert. It was built by a company who was building the area into a retirement community. He failed, and so did the person after him, but now it is a thriving retirement communtiy even bigger than the first man's dreams.
