How can I put this without making my self look bad? I am a very clean person and have a clean home, HOWEVER when we came home after nearly 4 months we found critters had moved in!!! People in denial call them "water bugs" in truth they are cockroaches. We declared WAR. We have been sprayed, all holes around pipes etc caulked, we have roach traps everywhere. But the final and most effective ways to get rid of them is NEVER have water they can get to including trays under plants, refrigerator bottom pan, toilets, drains etc. AND never have a garbage can that doesn't seal tight. We spent the whole day shopping for a good can. Hah, they ranged in price from 15 to 98 dollars! Most were too tall or too small and the rest didn't seal tight. As you can see our last stop was Home Depot. I spotted a wall full of orange buckets with tightly sealing lids for...tah dah....$2.78! It fits perfectly, the printing is funny, and no one sees under my sink. I think we were quite original on this one. I'll let you know if I ever see a roach again. Or maybe you will hear me all the way to where you live.
