While I like brown and blue together, not sure I like it on the frames. The blue does seem a bit bold to me....just my hones opinion. I know whatever colors you use, it will be gorgeous, can't wait to see the finished product.

How should I paint this project?

I have three different pain option for the project. The first is to paint the whole frame blue then distress the paint, like the middle of the frame here .
