Today was the biggest competition of the year for Lexi and the whole team. This year the team traveled to Providence RI. to compete with strong groups in the competition. I waited all day to hear any news on how the girls did and finally Carrie, my dd text me with the results. The first dance song was "Dance like your Daddy" won a platinum first place trophy. The second song was "You can't stop the Beat" from Hairspray and they also won a platinum first place trophy. For individual dances Lexi received 1st place in her age group, and 1st place over all. Also 2nd place for the most photogenic.
The most surprisingly win was a golden ticket to go to the regionals this year to the higher level of competition. I must say I am proud of Ashley's Dance Studio and the hard work she does to prepare the girls with their routines. Ashley You Go Girl, show the others what a small north country dance group can do!!
