One of the most amazing days on the trip was when we went to Gap of Dunlow, outside of Kilarney. The area is so remote that they didn't get electricity until the late 70's! The roads through the gap are closed to car traffic during the day--only farm equipment and horses are allowed--it's a very narrow road, and beautiful to say the least
