This is my adaptation of many ribbon storage ideas that have been posted on this sight. The adaptations are slight, but will work great for me.

My ribbons are stored on binder rings by color. I folded each ribbon until it was the length I wanted and then put a safety pen in at the fold. I then threaded the safety pen through the binder ring that contained similar colors. The rings are hanging from Command Adhesive Hooks, one color set on each hook with the exception of a few because I ran out of hooks. A couple of binder rings are just misc ribbons that wouldn't fit into any particular color.

I think a decorative peg system would look really good with this, better than the Command Hooks. But for now the Command hooks will have to do as I don't want to nail anything to my bookcase and I like the ribbons located right next to my desk. In the end I still like the way it looks.

With his system I can easily see what I have. it will be easy to grab one binder ring with the color that I am working on and take it to my layout page.
