The twist for the Journaling Challenge was to have a hidden tag or pocket, ribbon or string, rubons or stamps. I used a hidden tag, I have two different ribbons, I put rubons on the title tag (friends, pals, chums etc) and I used a stamp on the hidden journaling tag.
The twist for the Scraps challenge was to do a LO about friends that had water in it and use 85% scraps. The only thing new is white BG. Everything else is a scrap or came out of a packet that had already been opened.
This is a pic of my DD taken in 2005 with her second cousin and friend, Toneya. Tonny is the DD of my husbands first cousin which makes them second cousins. Tonny lives about an 8 hour drive from us and the two girls only see each other once or twice a year but keep in contact via the internet and are great friends as well as distant cousins. Toneya is an ace swimmer (competes professionally in her age group) and the two girls always end up in the pool when she visits. I love this pic taken by my late MIL, Kimberley’s Nonna.
