SHCG: Marsha, this is such fun! I have had pictures like that and I think that you have inspired me to scrap them again. If only, I could catch up on the ones I have first..... This is beautiful!
SHCG: This is an awesome LO!! Love the colors you used for her pic, and her adorable smile. Only critique I have is to add her name, year and age to it, and to move the title up to the left hand corner like you have on the blue version. It seems easier to read that way. TFS!!
SHCG: I love it, I love it, I love it! The only thing I would change would be to move "if" up so it's more visible and to change the font of "wings" to the same one as "had." I just think this is very cool looking... definitely a stunning LO!
SHCG - Marsha, so cool how you played around w/ photo effects for this! Rather than being captured by pygmies, I think the electronic geniuses at Disney/Epcot created a fantastic lightshow version of your DGD, LOL... awesome how w/ the black background & pic effects, this is more of a groovy, futuristic dreaminess rather than a customarily soft pastel one! I think the title is pretty & perfectly playful, but I agree w/ the spacing critiques below - I'd like more space btwn "had" & "wings," & have the letters in "wings" more evenly spaced w/ each other. I also could see the addition of a name, year & age, at least on the back for future viewers. Overall, incredible LO, I absolutely love this!
SHCG: I love the technique you used on the photo, it looks so cool! I would suggest changing the font, it's a little hard to read, but otherwise it's an awesome LO :)
SHCG: Marsha, I love playing around with my photos as you did here. Not that anything could possibly make Allyson cuter, but I think the "tribal paint" totally enhances the cute factor of this pygmy princess. I love your use of negative space, the shadow on her face with just the hint of light on the very far left of her silhouette, the overlapping "if" in your title, and the different fonts. I wish "had" and "wings" weren't so close together, though, and the little flowers on "wings" are a wee bit crowding. I like that in the other renditions you noted her name and year. I'd like to see that somewhere here, too, along with her age. Fun page, Marsha!
SHCG: Such neat effects. I would consider changing one thing though... if you are going with the "hubby's idea of tribal paint" theme for the page, coordinate the font colors with this. Otherwise, add the whimsical theme of the title into the photo somehow.
I love it! the space in "wings" is the only thing i see that may need
fixing, and only if it bothers you. The color and the graininess go
together well to put her in that "dream state"... after all, we don't all
dream alike do we. LOL.......................totally fine.
SHCG: this is interesting. I agree with Deb's comment about the word 'wings' and how it's space out. I really like the use of the different fonts and sizes in the title. The coloring is neat. I just kinda wih it wasn't so grainy looking. Way to try something new!!
SHCG: Very interesting technique with filters. The journaling works well with her pigtails, too!! I had trouble reading the words "if" and "wings." I'm not sure if you accidently added a space between the "n" and the "g" in "wings" or if it is just the particular font you used, but it was very hard for me to make out the word. Overall, I love the blending from black to the colors on her face!! Quite a LO, Marsha!!
did you ever have an idea with a pic that you wanted to do it a million different ways, well at least ten or twenty? i love this rendition. it is fun wild and keeping with the title. please feel free to paruse the other five renditions.(schrubby said it looks like pygmys tripped and spilled their tribal paint all over her!)
