shcg: your stuff is soo-different. not in a bad way either. i would just never come up with the things you do and it is so neat looking at your work, i have to look two or three times to get it all in. the only thing i would do with this, is give the pic a little more room. it is a bit crowded. i love everything elce on this the colors come togther with the pic so well
SHCG: LUV what you did with the photo, brown & pink. The doodling, butterflys, scallops, dots, owls are such fun! And your crowns help cap off the moment. Your Grandpa has such joy in his face and it really says something that he is looking at you, holding you securely, instead of grinning at the camera.
SHCG: Supercute lo from the photo to the embellies. Aren't you adorable?! I love the crowns on your heads, and the added humor in your journaling. Great placement of all the doodling, scallops, fonts, and ribbon. Nice beadwork on both birds, and I really like those butterflies. However, I think all these different icons--crowns, birds, butterflies--overpower the photo, and I hate to say it, but I feel like the page could do without the butterflies. Maybe go for something simpler like a long, skinny ghost heart with a pink ribbon vee stapled to it. I like your color scheme, too, and am tickled pink, Queen Pinky, to see you back in action!
SHCG: This is such a lovely, moving layout. I love the colors that you have chosen to use here and the photo is perfection. Your addition of the tiara/crown is so cute! I do want a little more green on the right side. (Perhaps outlining one of the butterflies in green?) It would create a nice visual triangle with the other groups of green on the page. This page is just exquisite. I love all of your small details that add up to something absolutely beautiful!
LRAC - I think the beading on the butterflies is incredible. the doodle scallops to each side of the photo mesh nicely with the scallop beneath the title. the balance with the birds and butterflies makes my socks wanna FLY!! incredible piece of art.
SHCG - Incredible work. I love the heritage pic, the splashes of color, the lovely embellies & the heartfelt journaling - I *heart* the matching hair too. I feel like a wet blanket saying this on such a deeply moving page, but I think the green bird steals focus a little from that amazing photo, just because of the bird's size & color... If it were smaller, or if an additional green element were on the left part of the photo (embellie, photo corner, green doodling, something) things would be more balanced to me. JMO. Awesome LO Melissa - charming & heartfelt... beautiful people in the pic & beautiful memory to capture.
SHCG: This is beautiful. I like all the rhinestone elements. One thing I would maybe think of adding is a little more doodling, because what you did looks good and a tiny bit more might even be better.
shcg: very nice. great combo of colors and elements. love the pic and think you did a wonderful job with your color choices to go with the sepia tone of the photo. what cute bird and owl elements. beautifully done.
